II. RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
A. Students Development
1. IT Programs
- 1050 students were enrolled in GSCHS IT Programs
i. 357 students are from 1st to 4th year Science Curriculum Students
ii. 42 students from Special Program in the Arts were enrolled in Media Arts
iii. 603 Students are taking Specialization in computer under Basic Education Curriculum
iv. Extended IT programs in the Alternative Learning System (ALS)
- Extended IT program to 60 out of school youth/ other students from other schools thru ROLCOR Computer Tutorial Services
2. Clubs and Organization
- Organized student’s IT club “TSOCC” dated July 24,2009 at Heroes Park, General Santos City High School campus.
- Organized student Web page development group in participation with the National Smart DPSA Learning Challenge
3. Utilization of Learning Guides
- Sustenance of classroom activities using learning guides to selected teachers
i. Math – all year levels
ii. Science – all year levels
iii. English – all year levels
4. Utilization of E-assessment and e-examination
- Sustenance of the utilization of e-examination and assessment in IT classess all year levels in Science Curriculum students, Media Arts and other BEC classes
5. Seminar Workshops & Trainings
- 1250 GSCSHS students watched the animated DAYO Film viewing at KCC Mall of Gensan last July 15,2009 in partnership with DTI, Red Cross, ACLC and TESDA
- 510 students attended the animated
- 15 students attended the Software Freedom Day 2009 last September 19,2009 at Notre Dame of Dadiangas University-IBED, GSC.
- Conducted Seminar-Workshop on Teckno Pinoy Project thru ACLC on Photo editing last October 2009
- Conducted a Seminar-Workshop on Webpage Designing last October 17,2009 at CyberEd Building GSCHS, GSC and was participated by 24 students from Third and Fourth Year Students
6. Competitions and Participated Events
- Participated and Won in the Division STEP IT competition dated September 28-30,2009 at General Santos City
i. Kirztein Sheen Seballos – 1st Place Electronic Poster Making Competition.
- Organized 12competing teams for the National SMART DPSA Learning Challenge Year 2 started last June 2009 both in Third year and Fourth Scicurr students under 7 categories
- Participated and won 2nd Place (Kirztein Sheen Seballos) during the Regional STEP Competition held in Tacurong National High School, Tacurong City Last Novermber 9-11,2009
- Champion AMA Computer College SOCSARGEN Invitational IT Brain Buster 2009, Katrina Joie Buhian dated November 27,2009 at AMA Computer college, GSC
- Won National SMART Gimik Competition
i. What’s on Your Mind Winner – Nefre Teri Dayap, Chen-chen Paulio, Anna Ross Erbina and John Simon Babia
- Chosen as Feature Contributor in the National SMART on-line Feature Essay

- Participated in the on-going AKC Kapamilya Challenge started last December 10,2009 to February 2010 in various events, to wit:
i. on-going Search for Campus Idols (Music Video Competition)- 10 video entries

iii. DEBATEHAN TV - 1 entry
iv. 1st ABS-CBN Newscasting Competition – 30 contestants
- Participated in the National SMART Kabalikat Competition last December 22,2009 ( judging still on-going) with 30 total entries under different categories

· Attended the Teacher’s Re-Training Project for Schools Recipient of PCPS3 on Linux (Web-based Learning) Productivity in Open Office Application (Writer, Calc,Impress) Blended Learning: Integrating Web-based Learning Inside the Classroom dated June 1-3,2009 at General Santos City High School, Calumpang, General Santos City and was participated by Aida Nale, Melanie Daan, Maria Theresa P. Pelones and Maychelou Castillo.
· Conducted the Project ALERT exhibit during the launching of the Regional Educators Academy of the Philippines building held last June 18-19,2009 at East, General Santos City
· Conducted the Division Seminar Workshop on Office Management for Division and District Supervisors last August 4,2009 at GSCHS,GSC with 24 participants
· Conducted the Division Seminar Workshop on Office Management for Secondary Principals last August 5,2009 at GSCHS,GSC with 23 participants (Batch 1).
· Conducted the Division Seminar Workshop on Office Management for Elementary Principals from P.Acharon, North and South District last August 6,2009 at GSCHS,GSC with 20 participants (Batch 2).
· Conducted the Division Seminar Workshop on Office Management for Elementary Principals from Bula, West and Cahilsot District last August 7,2009 at GSCHS,GSC with 14 participants (Batch 3).
· Conducted the Division Seminar Workshop on Office Management for Elementary Principals from Fatima and Buayan District last August 8,2009 at GSCHS,GSC with 20 participants (Batch 3).
· Maria Theresa P. Pelones was Invited as Resource Speaker during the Regional Conference Meeting with Secondary Principal at Regional Academy of the Philippines building, East, GSC last July 28-29,2009.
· Attended the National Core Group Training of Year I Teacher Trainers for Career Pathways in the Enriched Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Program for General High Schools held at the Central Luzon State University, Nueva Ecija last October 26-31,2009 participated by Mr. Jerry Laguda and Maria Theresa P. Pelones.
· Attended the Regional ICT4E Consultative Meeting held in East Elementary School, East, General Santos City dated October 22,2009 and was participated by Mr. Angelito C. Llanos and Ma. Theresa Pelones
