ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT
Project A.L.E.R.T.
(Advancing Learning using Electronic and Relevant Technologies)
School Year 2006-2007
Project ALERT, a Web-based learning program, is anchored on the principle that an ideal e-learning program is independent of the learner’s location; has on-line classes with virtual facilitators; contains online multimedia curriculum that provides rich and interactive content for teacher and student and access inside and outside the classroom; incorporates a web-based learning management system and on-line assessment resources in the form of traditional examinations or portfolio and performance activities and strategies that determine the effectiveness of learning.
I. CAPABILITY BUILDING
A. Teacher Development:
The School is composed of 163 teachers with 127 National itemed teachers, 6 Administrative staff, 9 Local School Board Teachers and 21 PTCA funded teachers.
